Communication
Hey Beauties,
We are all told that communication is the key core to a successful relationship, but what happens when there is a lack of communication?
Well iv'e been giving this Question a lot of thought and I feel like sharing those thoughts with all of you.
My opinion on this topic in a nutshell is that without communication their is no relationship! The best friendships turn into the greatest relationships. Why not be with someone who knows everything about you and still wants to know more? Being able to share your most intimate thoughts with the person you spend all your time with is an awesome feeling. But the problem seems to be that a lot of couples lack in the communication department............
The honest truth is that we need communication in order to get threw everyday life so why wouldn't we need to have it in our partnerships? How will your significant other know your likes and dislikes if you are unable to express them?
Ok Ok Ok with all of that said i'm going to give you 3 ways that may assist in trying to get your point across with that special someone.
#1- Try writing down your thoughts.
If your afraid of how the other person may react, writing those thoughts and issues down on a piece of paper may be extremely useful. If your not around when the person reads it then you cut out that white elephant in the room.
#2- Attempt to set up a romantic dinner and then try to speak to one another.
Iv'e found that this technique lightens the mood, there is nothing like some great food to help the conversation on its way.
#3- There is always the old fashion way of just asking that person to have a sit down.
If you and your partner already have a bond then this method should be no problem at all. As long as you all take turns listening and not only speaking then it really should be a breeze.
As always I hope you all found this helpful... And please submit your other topic ideas at my email address..

The Browns "Dysfunctional Family"
Hey Beauties,
I am excited to share my new adventure with you all. My siblings and I are starting a new web series titled The Browns "Dysfunctional Family". Basically We are filming our lives on a daily basis and allowing you to see us in our raw forms.. It's not all about laughing and joking, as siblings we argue and fight on a daily basis and now everyone has the the opportunity to see how we overcome adversities and still strive to do better...
Here is a brief description of The Browns
Jacqueline- She is the baby of the 3 of us, Even though she would like to think she's the eldest.. Her nickname "The Diva" was given simply because she expects all of us to wait on her hand and foot which is pretty funny because we end up doing it.. LOL Watch as she makes it threw her last year of High school and gets ready for college.
King Russ- He is the only boy from our mom and he is a piece of work....His nickname "The Recording artist" is pretty much self explanatory.... Right now he is signed to Grand Master Melle Mel and threw out the show the camera's will follow him on his journey into becoming Harlem's next rapper. With hard work and dedication he has a built a huge fan base and everyday more and more doors open up for him.
BrittanyAlissa- The second to oldest.. Her nickname "The Fashionista" was giving to her by "Her"... LOL
She is the craziest of the bunch, with her loud and rude ways you can't help but to either love or hate her.. Her name should of been the bipolar because one can swear she has multiple personalities.. She talks of herself in the third person, and can switch accents at the drop of a hat but it's all in the name of fun... She is trying to become a youtube sensation with her Video vlogs and Tutorials.. She also is a freelance stylist who can put a magic touch to anyone's head... Watch as she tries to be the next best blogger...
When we are together we try to do everything in our power to motivate the next. But that doesn't stop us from having a good time. Between shopping, drinking and partying you never know what the day holds when we're around one another... I hope that you watch and enjoy, as we take you on this ride with us to or Journey's to success....

STARTING SOMETHING NEW
Hey Beauties,
Did you all miss me? Well I'm back and I wanna share something that's been on my mind.
As you all know, I come to you all every once in a while with my thoughts and views on relationships, and today is one of those days... Today's topic is, STARTING A NEW FRESH RELATIONSHIP after you've suffered a broken heart...........
I've written about what to do when your in a relationship to keep the spice alive, and I've also giving you all my views on when to leave a relationship that isn't beneficial to all your needs.. Now I have to touch the topic of what to do when you want New love but your afraid of what will happen when things don't work out the way you've hoped.
NOW LETS GET STARTED
Months have passed since your last relationship and you feel that it's time to move on but the fear of reliving the hurt that was felt is a constant reminder, so what do you do??..... A lot of us join these dating sites in hopes that we'll find Mr. or Mrs. right and all we end up getting out of that is "Wasted time".
Well lets just say you do meet the one your suppose to spend the rest of your life with, how do you go at it without bringing all the baggage from your last relationship. (You know all the pain and heartache!)
Well here are my thoughts on all of this. HERE ARE 3 RULES I FOLLOW WHEN STARTING OVER
1: I NEVER hold innocent people accountable for the pain and heartache I've suffered from a failed relationship, although the pain may still be much so relevant; it isn't the new person's fault..
2: I go into a new relationship with an open mind, I always use this metaphor: I jump into the pool without knowing how to swim... And what I mean by this is, you may not know what it takes to make "that" specific relationship work but as long as you go into it with a positive attitude and pray for the best you can't expect anything but the best..
3: I always communicate my wants and needs with the new person I'm with.... You can't expect anyone to know your needs if you don't express them. Starting over means starting fresh, and this means communicating about everything under the sun... Communication is a key point to any successful relationship so why not start at the beginning....
SO THERE YOU HAVE IT
Those are my rules, and most of the time they work... Unfortunately there are those insistence's when that person may not be the one for you, but that shouldn't stop you from wanting to still try, try and try again.. Who knows You perfect fit can be right under your nose, but if your not open to new experiences then you may be allowing a wonderful possibility to slip right threw your fingers... I hope this was helpful....

VONDA KAY BROWN
As I sit here and I'm consumed with my thoughts, I shed tears for the mother that I will never get to know. I will never have answers to the questions that run threw my mind. Like how could God take my mother so early? How could he leave Kat, Jacks, Junebug, and I here to fight alone? We had to deal with a father who couldn't look at us, couldn't give us answers. A father who couldn't console us and tell us that everything would be ok. And now we're left here trying to live without our "Mother". I was 7 when it happened and at the age of 25 I still have no answers. I still hurt, I still cry because my heart is still in pain.
HERE IS A LETTER TO MY MOM
DEAR MOM,
I will never understand the pain you must have endured to turn to drugs, But I want you to know that I forgive you. I know that as you look over us you must regret everything that happened. But I have to face the fact that God has a plan for all of us. You were so very young, and you had your whole life to live. Your sudden death has left me scared and scarred.. I am afraid of being in the house alone. I am scared that my life will end as yours did. And for that reason I am afraid to live. I still can't stop thinking about all the memories I had of you. I have so many things to tell you, and as I close my eyes every night I know that you are with me. I can only imagine how it was for you to be a mother of 4 and not really have anyone to turn to. To have a husband that you adored but could turn into a monster. I know it must of been really hard for you to go on day to day when you were isolated from your family. Kat and I talk about you often, Junebug is into music, and Jackie is starting college soon. I still have memories of you allowing me to play in your hair, and because of it I ended up going to high school for cosmetology. I hope that you are proud of all of us. Because although we don't speak of it, I know we all aim to make you happy. I still remember you dancing in the kitchen while you prepared dinner. Kat tells me that you were her best friend, and It saddens me that I will never get to speak those words. Although I only have a few memories I feel hurt that Jackie has none. She was only a baby and I can only imagine how she feels. She can only imagine what it's like to have a mother, and that makes me cry everyday. As sisters we have our differences but we will be ok... I can only pray that when God lays me down to rest, that I can finally get that HUG that my heart so desperately needs.
You are in my heart THEN, NOW AND FOREVER.........
And my promise to you is that I will never allow anything to get in the way of me being in my brother, and sisters lives. LOVE ALWAYS YOUR FEE-FEE

KING RUSS- STOP THE VIOLENCE
I'm really into this whole anti-violence movement and I feel that we can all make a difference.
I'm am so very honored to have the privilege of being related to such a talented individual who has the same beliefs as I do.. This is a wonderful song and it doesn't get any realer than this.... STOP THE VIOLENCE.
Life is way to short and to many of our youth's are falling. Instead of becoming doc and lawyers there dying or ending up behind bars.... Become apart of this movement and make a difference.........

GOD NOT GUNS Movement
I still haven't gotten all of the pics back from the photo-shoot I did a few weeks back, but here is one pic I managed to get my hands on.. This is a positive movement that we all should all be apart of..
There have been a number of deaths in my hometown Harlem, so Miss Dy Sass decided that it was time to make a change..
The slogan is "God Over Gun's".. And honestly if we all tried a little harder to focus our negative energy on God instead of violence then the death rate can potentially go down...
There are t-shirts being sold at only $10 to help this movement turn into a world wide phenomenon..Here is the link so you can help
